Janis Joplin, Bonnie Raitt, Tina Turner, and Cher have all been presented as favorable comparisons to Robin DeLorenzo’s powerful, emotional, and captivating performances. Her Americana style is founded on singing from her soul and writing from her heart, which contributes to her engaging nature and ability to interact with her audience through every note she sings. In addition to her performing work, Robin also serves as a voting member of The Recording Academy, ASCAP, and the Americana Music Association
After being involved with various projects and cover bands for many years, Robin began working on her own music, releasing her album Wanna Fly in 2010. Her song Shakey Ground received a Lady Lake Indie Music Festival Award in January 2012 for Best New Female Song, along with receiving praise for the quality of the work contained in the album as a whole. In recent years, Robin has performed at well-known venues including The Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles, California; Chihuahua, Mexico; and Muscle Shoals, Alabama. She is currently working on promoting her most recent album, Walkin’ Miles in My Shoes, which was released in May 2014.
