Deb D’Anne Music

Bulding a Music-to-Book Bridge

Deb D’Anne, both kids’ singer/songwriter and certified classroom teacher/media specialist, brings a unique and educational  and musical experience to the stage and classroom.

Sprinkle in some creativity over the guitar and mandolin,  and you have a music to literacy bridge that kids relate to. Parents and educators love it too because it’s tied to the core standards and crosses curricula during all the fun.

Deb uses classic kids’ literature and/or picture books to engage kids in song and conversation. Her international, multicultural program on world peace culminates with original songs for kids to jump right into!  She also has performances that connect math,  gardening and science books to music. Kids are given and introduction to unusual musical instruments, both percussive and stringed.

Truly an enriching experience, kids will be encouraged to perform and join right in on stage.

Deb teaches private piano, guitar and tutors all subjects and grades. She also is the director of Brook Falls Farm, where she runs private music events and birthday parties for children such as campfire singalongs and songwriting parties.
