Texas Smoke Barbecue is a family run business with a deep passion for barbecue. It all began in 2000, training and working with a top Pit Master in Texas. As our love for Texas Style Barbecue grew, we decided to share with the NY/NJ/PA Market, the great taste of what Texas is known for. Soon after, we took the show on the road and developed a following through our many appearances at State and County Fairs, concerts, beer and wine shows and local street fairs.

In 2007, Texas Smoke Barbecue began competing under the same name in national and regional competitions. The challenge was grueling, but our hard work and passion for developing the best barbecue was recognized by the many awards we received.
In 2009 we were crowned Grand Champion of the Grill at the Sussex County Champion of the Grill Contest and have repeated our success by winning this title two more times, most recently in 2012. In addition to this prestigious award, we also won “Best Ribs” for six consecutive years.

Our loyal customers helped develop our strong following which grew into our next venture in 2009 when we opened our first take out location in Rockaway, NJ. Our accolades continued, and we were named one of the Top Restaurants and Best Barbecue in NJ by the Star Ledger’s Munch Mobile in 2010 as well as the prestigious NJ Monthly Award for Best Barbecue/Reader’s Choice in North Jersey 2011 & 2012.
